The vineyards for our Pinot Noir are located on the most favourably situated pieces of land in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Which are known as one of the best areas in the world for growing these grapes. They get plenty of sunshine and cooling from the sea breeze in the afternoon.
The grapes are harvested by hand. And the special fermentation softens the natural acidity. The Bernardus Pinot Noir is therefore an elegant, clear, ruby-red wine, with aromas of ripe black cherries, berries, vanilla and a little dairy.
